In a recent commercial offer to a major electronics provider (that got accepted), I see (for the hosting details):

• OS: Windows
• Bandwith: 5GB
• Max transfer: 500GB

Well, that's kind of a geeks-only post, but honestly, who needs to know the bandwith and max transfer? Just put some random numbers in there (with preferably the wrong unit too) and you're free to go! :-)

Next week we'll be testing Chamilo 1.8.7 beta instead of 2.0. There will only be one testing session, so we'll have to split between 3 rooms: content creation, interactions and administration tools.

After Ubuntu's decision to default to OpenJDK for 10.04 (which is a good decision, IMHO), Sun's (but is it still Sun, or Oracle?) JAVA somewhat "disappeared" from Ubuntu (multiverse). That being said, some people may still need features only available in Sun's JRE/JDK, which might not yet have been Freed. Actually, Ubuntu is still shipping it, but in its "partner" section.

Apparently we have to improve our documentation (this is clearly an understatement). In Chamilo 1.8.6.2 and 1.8.7, there is a new checkbox in the admin panel for courses edition which says "Special course", and which you can check.

Today I just saw one of the most beautiful examples of what our efforts (as a community of free software, standards, formats and knowledge evangelists) are all leading to. In short, I'm talking about the Wikipedia page in English for the OGG standard, which I'm publishing a capture of below.
