I've been trying to find the kind of PHP library that allows you to quick-generate an HTML form a basic XML structure. Apparently there is no such thing, so here you can find some code that will help you do that (you still have to build the form tags from outside the function).

We're preparing a great training course for PHP in Lima (not remote though) that will start in February, exclusively in Spanish and exclusively during the week-end. I'm telling this here because we managed to gather 4 (and possibly 5) of the only 5 Zend certified engineers of Peru to teach it. I'm sure that's going to be a great event. Before I forget all about it, I want to make a note of what happened, what was good and what could be improved for the PHP Day event we organized jointly with Mobile Bridges, another software development company in Lima. The schedule was the following (translated to English for the purpose of this article):

There seems to be a strange mood going on among a few of the top PHP activists and core developers. Chris Shiflett changed job recently (about two months ago), and today Cal Evans declared he would be leaving ibuildings, almost at the same time Derick Rethans stated he would be leaving eZ Systems. The latter two indicated they would be looking for positions that really make them enjoy their professional activities.
