Redmine is a project management system and a support ticket management system. See other articles on this blog and my video on YouTube about a previous version of Redmine for more info. At some point (and this only happened to us after years of use and more than 10.000 tickets/issues registered), you might want to change the name of a project.

To refresh Redmine cache, do the following from the Redmine directory (/usr/local/share/redmine, maybe ?):

rake tmp:cache:clear
rake tmp:sessions:clear

I figured this little trick could be useful to some of you. In the common situation of having to hire a subcontractor to execute one task inside a big project in Redmine, you might want to give him access to just one task and leave the project otherwise untouched.
