There are many advantages of e-learning.

We are currently approaching the 1.9 release of Chamilo. In the inner circles, it will be called 1.9.0 as it will be followed by one or two other bugfix releases. During the past years, we started getting into details of 1.8.7.1, 1.8.8.4 etc. In my view, this was a bad decision.

There's been much talk over the last years about Chamilo 1 and 2, whether they were the same product, whether we were going to merge, etc. Last month's General Assembly of the Chamilo Association (which also made me the happy president of the association) helped us clarify a common line of conduct which, I am sure, most will appreciate.
